Kremlin confirms Putin's meeting with Kocharyan’s wife
Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed earlier reports that Vladimir Putin held a meeting on Tuesday evening with Bella Kocharyan, the wife of Armenia’s former President Robert Kocharyan currently held in custody.
According to Russian media, the spokesman said that the meeting took place at the Russian Embassy in Yerevan.
Head of Kocharyan's office Victor Soghomonyan was the first to break the news to Yerevan Today news outlet. Soghomonyan refused to provide other details from the meeting.
Putin visited Armenia on October 1 to attend the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting.
