Armenian PM comments on famous selfie with EAEU leaders, Iran’s president
During Wednesday’s Q&A session at the National Assembly, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan revealed the details of the famous selfie with leaders of the EAEU member states and presidents of Iran and Moldova, adding there is nothing unusual about the photo.
His comments came in response to a question by My Step faction MP Mikael Zolyan about the story of the photo.
“There is nothing to tell, we just took a selfie together. If you are referring to the environment, it’s a common practice when the heads of states travel in the same vehicle when they participate in an event together,” he said.
Asked why Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko wasn’t in the selfie, Pashinyan said he had to leave Armenia earlier than others to take part in “certain mourning events.”
