Sanitek says received no official notice on termination of contracts with Yerevan Municipality
Sanitek waste management company says it has not yet received an official notice from the Yerevan Municipality that Mayor Hayk Marutyan has unilaterally terminated the contracts with the company.
"Only after receiving the notice will the company issue a statement, which will be published within reasonable timeframes," a source from the company told Panorama.am.
Earlier on Thursday, Marutyan announced his decision to ‘completely and unilaterally’ terminate the contracts with the Lebanese-run company.
Sanitek has been under fire for months for its poor waste disposal services in the Armenian capital, being fined twice since the beginning of this year by the city authorities.
