Pashinyan's spokesman refutes reports on defense minister’s dismissal
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan refutes media reports alleging Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan has been sacked.
“I dismiss those reports,” the spokesman told Panorama.am.
Irakanum.am news outlet reports that Pashinyan announced his decision to dismiss Tonoyan at a government meeting on Wednesday.
The media outlet said the prime minister’s respective decision has already been forwarded to President Armen Sarkissian.
Panorama.am could not reach the Defense Ministry's spokesman for comments.
