Georgian PM to pay official visit to Armenia
Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia of Georgia is arriving in Yerevan on an official visit on Tuesday, October 15, at the invitation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the PM's office reported.
After an official welcoming ceremony, the Armenian and Georgian PMs will meet for private talks to be followed by an extended format meeting. The two will later hold a joint news conference summing up the outcomes of the talks.
On the sidelines of the visit Gakharia is expected to meet with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
The Georgian PM is also set to visit the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
