
Rock crumbled onto the roadway in Tavush province
Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations reports that on October 15, at 08:54 an emergency call was received to "911" service that a stone had separated from mountain and rolled over into roadway:
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene. It turned out that rock (1.5 m3) had separated from the hillside and crumbled onto the roadway making it one-way passable.
The rescuers and the employees of ''Haghartsin'' RES CJSC removed the rock from the roadway, the source said.
