Second session of Armenia-EU Partnership Council held in Brussels
On October 17, the second session of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council was held in Brussels, the press service at the ministry of economy reported, adding the co-chairs of the session were the deputy minister of economy Varos Simonyan from the Armenia side and Petros Surmelis, the head of the European Commission's Directorate General for Trade Department.
The Partnership Council reviewed the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement as well as the partnership priorities. As part of the Agreement, road maps of the implementation of measures in trade, tax sector, technical barriers to trade, sanitary measures, service trade, and launch, electronic trade, ongoing payments, and movement of the capital, state purchases, competition, state enterprises and transparence were discussed .
