Two-storey building collapses after landslide in Armenian town
A two-storey residential building has collapsed in the wake of a landslide in Kapan, a town in Armenia’s Syunik Province, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
One fire and rescue squad of the ministry’s Regional Rescue Department responded to the incident after a call to the 911 hotline at around 9am on Thursday.
According to the report, there were people trapped inside the building.
No other details were immediately available.
The ministry said it will provide additional information on the incident.
