Three killed, one wounded in tragic road accident in Armenia
A tragic road traffic accident in Armenia’s Shirak Province has killed three people and injured another.
The accident occurred on the 135th km of Yerevan-Bavra highway on Sunday night, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
One fire and rescue squad of the ministry’s Rescue Service responded to the accident after the 911 emergency hotline received a report at 1:28am.
Rescuers found out that a Suzuki car had run off the road to roll around 200 meters into a canyon.
Three people, identified by only their first names as Artur, Vazgen and Vahe, were killed in the wake of the accident, whereas another person, identified as Gevorg A., was taken to Gyumri Medical Center through local efforts, with his condition assessed as moderate.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
