Artsakh official: Azerbaijan preparing its population for war, not for peace
The recent statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs failed to refer to some of the important facts for Armenia, including Azerbaijan’s subversive attack attempt and employment of an unmanned aerial vehicles on the Artsakh contact line, an advisor to the Artsakh president, Tigran Abrahamyan told a program aired on ArmNews.
He stressed the official Stepanakert discussed the matter with the Minsk Group mediators during their latest trip to the region.
Abrahamyan believes Ilham Aliyev's "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" remark is yet another evidence that Azerbaijan is preparing its population for war, not for peace.
“It is very difficult to imagine a settlement which will be acceptable by three parties, as proposed by [Armenian] Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, especially when Azerbaijan has hardened its position recently, leaving no room for negotiations. Azerbaijan is stalling the peace process in every way possible,” he stressed.
