World Bank confirms the veracity of Armenia data in Doing Business 2020 report
Doing Business 2020 report that assesses the ease of doing business in the countries around the world, does not contain inaccurate information regarding Armenia data, Valentina Saltyan, Senior Specialist of Private Sector Development at World Bank told Voice of America.
To remind, the Chairman of the Armenian Central Bank Artur Javadyan earlier asserted that the report contained technical mistakes in the section of Armenia.
“We will report back to colleagues at World Bank and if the mistake is corrected we will move to the 37th place in the list,” Javadyan said during the Cabinet session.
To remind, the latest report ranked Armenia the 47th among 190 countries with a score of 74.5 to compare with 73.2 of the previous year.
