Armenia’s NSS exposes forgery, sale of official documents
The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has revealed ceases of forgery and sale of official documents, abuse of powers by officials and bribery.
According to the data obtained by the law enforcement agency, two Armenian citizens falsified official documents, including technical inspection coupons and licenses for the operation of liquid gas cylinders to sell them to foreigners in the territory of the Yerevan Traffic Police Department at a price of 5,000-15,000 drams from January 2018 to October 2019.
On October 4, they were arrested as a result of operational-intelligence measures taken by security officers.
A criminal case has been opened under the relevant article of Armenia’s Criminal Code.
A preliminary probe is underway.
