Three talented saxophonists to share stage in Yerevan
The National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia will perform a unique concert entitled “Sax Time” in Yerevan in participation of three talented saxophonists.
During the concert scheduled for 10 November at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, the chamber orchestra will perform under the baton of conductor Harutyun Arzumanyan.
Participating in the concert are saxophonists Asya Fateyeva from Germany, Nobuya Sugawa from Japan and Arno Bornkamp from the Netherlands, the National Chamber Orchestra’s press service reported.
The concert program features Alexander Glazunov's Concerto for Alto Saxophone and String Orchestra in E-flat major op. 109, Henry Cowell's Air and Scherzo for saxophone and string, Léo Delibes' Flower Duet (from the opera Lakmé), Alexey Shor's Verdiana and Jules Massenet's Charlotte's Tears (from the opera Werthner).
The orchestra assures this format of the classical concert is unique and will not leave the Armenian audience indifferent.
