One wounded in multiple-car crash in Armenian capital
A passenger has been injured in a road traffic accident involving three cars in the Armenian capital of Yerevan.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Garegin Nzhdeh and Sevan Streets in Yerevan on Wednesday evening, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
A fire and rescue crew of the ministry’s Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene after the 911 hotline received a crash report at 9:14pm.
It turned out that the crash involved a VAZ-2105, driven by Mikayel Gh., 26, a Mercedes W124, driven by Karen M., 34, and a Mercedes C230, driven by Vahan M., 26.
The passenger of VAZ-2105, identified as Arkadi H., 41 suffered injuries in the wake of the collision and was hospitalized at Saint Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
