Armenia’s deputy justice minister sacked
By the decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Vardapetyan has been dismissed as Deputy Justice Minister.
The decision signed on 8 November fails to specify the reasons for the deputy minister’s dismissal.
The document only cites Article 9.1 of the law “On Public Service” which stipulates that deputy prime ministers are appointed and dismissed by the prime minister upon the recommendation of ministers.
On the same day Vardapetyan mentioned on Facebook that she had left job at the ministry.
