Armenia elected member of the Council of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education
Armenia elected member of the Council of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education (for the period of 2019-2023) and the Legal Committee of the UNESCO General Conference (for the 41st session), the foreign ministry reported in a press statement.
According to the source, the election came in the frames of the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference underway in Paris, France.
The International Bureau of Education (IBE-UNESCO) is a UNESCO category 1 institute mandated as the Centre of Excellence in curriculum and related matters. It provides tailored technical support and expertise to all UNESCO Member States facilitating the provision and delivery of equitable, inclusive, high quality education.
