Car customs clearance checkpoint to fully operate in Gyumri as from November 25
The new car customs clearance checkpoint will fully operate as from November 25 in Gyumri, Armenia’s second largest city, the countries state Revenue Committee reported on Friday.
The customs clearance will be implemented in the newly constructed External Economic Activities Service Center, the source said.
As the Committee added, the imported vehicles that crossed the border before the date will be undergo clearance in Yerevan.
To remind, the Cabinet approved the project to move the customs house for vehicles from Yerevan to Gyumri in June in an effort boost the city’s economic life.
