Poland wins Junior Eurovision 2019, Armenia comes 9th
12-year-old Viki Gabor representing Poland has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 held in Gliwice, Poland on Sunday.
Receiving a total of 278 points, she beat out 18 competitors.
Armenian delegate Karina Ignatyan finished 9th with 115 points. She performed “Colours Of Your Dream”, a song penned by Avet Barseghyan, Margarita Doroshevich and composed by Demchuk Taras.
Karina is 13 years old and was born and raised in Kaluga. She is currently enrolled at the 24th Gymnasium. Karina has participated in numerous international music competitions and festivals, including The Voice Kids Russia, New Wave Junior, Pokolenie Next and Miss Ethno 2019.
The 19 participating countries were Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malta, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Wales.
Armenia has taken part in Junior Eurovision since 2007.
