A working group to discuss constitutional changes in February - Makunts
A working group will be set up in February to discuss possible constitutional reforms, the head of the ruling “My Step” faction at parliament Lilit Makunts told reporters on Wednesday.
“I think the group will be formed, and the process will be inclusive to involve not only representatives from ministries and the cabinet, but also the National Assembly, including from opposition,” Makunts said. In her words, the representatives of the opposition will then have the chance to present their considerations on possible reforms in a working format.
To remind earlier, Armenia’s Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan told reporters that the proposed constitutional reforms are expected to resolve the crisis of the Constitutional Court.
