Moscow welcomes mutual visits of Armenian and Azerbaijani journalists
Russia welcomes the mutual visits of Armenian and Azerbaijani journalists as well as other humanitarian initiatives that are aimed at preparing the people to peace in the context of the NK settlement, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.
According to the report by TASS news agency, Zakharova reminded that Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs had agreed at a meeting in Moscow in April 2019 to start practical steps in number of humanitarian issues, including mutual visits of journalists. The agreement had come at the initiative of Russian FM Sergey Lavrov.
“We are confident that these humanitarian initiatives which are aimed at preparing people to peace should continue and we will definitely back them,” Zakharova added, as quoted by the source.
