Annual Business Innovation Forum opened in Dilijan to discuss Armenia’s High-tech development
The 7th Business Innovation Forum (BIF) 2019 opened today in Dilijan, Armenia. The forum, which is one of the strategic events organised by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), serves as a platform for knowledge sharing and practical solutions discussions among the local and international experts of the high-tech and related industries as well as related academic fields.
This year’s forum is devoted to discussions of the current "State Strategy on Digitisation, High-Tech Development and Arms Industry" developed by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia.
Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan, President of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises Alexander Yesayan and Executive Director Karen Vardanyan, Head of Instigate Group Arman Poghosyan, the representative of e-GovArmenia Consortium Satenik Mnatsakanyan addressed the participants. Thematic fields of BIF 2019 two-day sessions are State Strategy on Digitisation and High-Tech Development, development of e-Gov Systems, STEM Education as a Base for the Industrial Development of Armenia, investment Potential of Science and Innovation, innovative pathways of Arms Industry Development.
In practical workshops and dedicated working groups recommendations will be developed and concrete ideas proposed. The forum is organised under the high patronage of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
