Road accident in Noragavit district: the driver died on spot
A car accident occurred near the former Traffic Police checkpoint in Noragavit district, Yerevan, the ministry of emergency reported, adding an emergency call was received to “911” service at 05:37 on Saturday.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department and the rescue squad of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene. It turned out that “Mercedes” car (driver Hrachik Y. born in 1991) had crashed into the wall of the former Traffic Police checkpoint: the driver died on spot.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, the ministry said.
