Armenia lifts ban on Russian arms manufacturer
Russian weapons manufacturer ORSIS has been removed from the black list of arms suppliers to Armenia, Alexander Sirunyan, an attorney of the Armenian Bar Association, told RIA Novosti.
“The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction granted our request to suspend the decision of the Finance Ministry, which includes ORSIS in the black list,” the lawyer said.
According to him, the company can again participate in tenders and supply weapons to the Armenian army and other power structures.
ORSIS was blacklisted by Armenia immediately after the failure of the tender for the supply of military equipment worth several million dollars in participation of the Russian company.
