Steven Zaillian nominated for Golden Globe award
American-Armenian screenwriter, film director and producer Steven Zaillian has been nominated for a Golden Globe award for "The Irishman".
Zailian scored a nomination for best adapted screenplay.
The complete nominations list for the 77th Golden Globes was published by Variety on Monday.
Martin Scorsese’s "The Irishman" landed four other Golden Globe nominations, including best drama. Scorsese received a nomination for best director. Al Pacino and Joe Pesci were both nominated for best supporting actor in the Netflix film.
Steven Zaillian won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award for his screenplay "Schindler's List" (1993) and has also earned Oscar nominations for "Awakenings", "Gangs of New York" and "Moneyball."
