Wizz Air launches cheap flights to Vienna and Vilnius from Armenia
Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air will launch new flight connections from Armenia, Andras Rado, Corporate Communications Manager at the carries said on Monday at a joint press conference with Armenian International Airport General Manager Marcelo Wende and Chairwoman of the Civil Aviation Committee Tatevik Revazyan.
In the words of Wizz Air representative, the carries will launch flights to Vienna an Vilnius two times a week starting from April next year. The average fee for the tickets will start at 24.99 euros. The booking is now available online and can be reserved through mobile Apps.
“Wizz Air prefers to use modern planes in order to reduce costs and fees incurred by service usage. We operate Airbus A320 7 and A321planes which are the latest models in the sphere,” Andras Rado said.
“There is no need to pay for luggage if we have not the one, no need to pay for the food if you have no need. The passengers will pay only for the luggage they plan to take with them,” said the representative of the carries.
It was noted that the airline serves many cities across Europe, as well as some destinations in North Africa and the Middle East. The carrier possesses120 planes and is served at 153 airports globally. Over the past 10-15 years the airline transported 235 million passengers.
