Armenian PM: Around 440 km of roads built in 2019
The Armenian government built nearly 440 kilometers of roads in 2019, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a Facebook post.
According to the PM, as of November 2019, 330 km of roads were either constructed or restored, with an additional 110 km of roads reconstructed under subvention programs.
“This year, more than 330 kilometers of roads of national significance were restored, as much as from 2013-2017 altogether,” he said.
Pashinyan said the road renovation costs have significantly dropped this year. “If it cost 200 million dams to renovate 1 km road in 2014, this year the same works cost two and a half times less – about 80 million drams,” he wrote.
