French Senate ratifies Armenia-EU agreement
The French Senate has ratified the Armenia-EU agreement, Armenia's Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajian said in a Facebook post.
"The Senate has just passed a law authorizing the ratification of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Thanks to all senators!” the ambassador wrote.
Armenia and the EU signed the deal in the margins of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Brussels on November 24, 2017.
18 countries, including Armenia, have already ratified the agreement and notified the EU Council of it.
