One killed, two injured in Armenia traffic accident
One person has been killed, while two others have been seriously injured in a road traffic accident involving a VAZ-2110 car in Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The accident occurred on the 80th kilometer of Yerevan-Gyumri highway on Thursday, shortly after midnight.
A fire and rescue team from the Regional Rescue Department of the ministry’s Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene after the 911 hotline received a report at 12:51am.
They found out that the car, driven by Davit M., had run off the road to end up in the middle of a field, killing one of its passengers, who has not been identified yet.
Before the arrival of rescuers passengers Khachatur G. (born in 1985) and Seyran G. (born in 1970) had been hospitalized at the Talin Medical Center with serious injuries.
No other details were immediately known.
