Yerevan City Council opposition member summoned to police
Th head of the opposition Bright Armenia faction at the Yerevan City Council, Davit Khazhakyan has been summoned to police, he said in a Facebook post.
“Four weeks ago, I submitted a crime report from the Yerevan City Council’s floor. One week ago, I filed a written report to the prosecutor's office, although a public report can also serve as a basis for launching a criminal case,” he wrote.
“Today I was summoned to the police to give an explanation, where it turned out that my written report had not even been transferred to them.
I'm in no hurry to make an assessment on the course of the case, and I'm not in a hurry, in general...
I firmly hold the facts at my hand. When they decide that they want them, I will hand [the documents] to them,” the post read.
