Criminal case opened into obstruction of journalistic work of Kentron TV reporters
Armenia’s law enforcement opened a criminal case into the facts about obstruction of professional activity of Epikentron news programme reporter Artur Hovhannisyan and cameraman Simik Mayilyan in Hovtashat village.
As reported earlier, the reporters arrived in Hovtashat village to film a reportage in one of the fish farms. The video shared on Facebook shows unidentified people shouting at the journalists not to film and punching them.
At the instruction of Ararat Province Prosecutor, the criminal case has been opened under Article 164 part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
