Roads in Armenia mostly passable
Roadways are mostly open for traffic in the territory of Armenia as of 19:30 Wednesday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Certain sections of Vardenyats Pass are partly covered with clear ice. Trucks are recommended to drive only in case of using tire chains. Snow is reported in Aparan, Aragats village of Aragatsotn province and Jermuk town of Vayots Dzor region.
According to the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and the General Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are strictly recommended to use winter tires.
