Michael Jackson's 'alive' theory as fans urge lookalike to have DNA test
Fans of Michael Jackson believe that footage of a lookalike is actually the King of Pop himself.
Jackson is believed to have died in 2009 but a conspiracy theory has claimed that he is living as an impersonator of his former self.
The sensational claims have been made after footage of Spanish impersonator, Sergio Cortes, went viral and left fans of the singer in a spin, Daily Mirror reported.
Sergio does look remarkably like Jackson and some fans have urged that he is DNA tested to prove he is not the legendary pop singer himself.
Fans want Sergio to 'rule himself out' as the real deal and prove that he is just an impersonator and not Jackson himself.
Followers of Jackson have been getting themselves in a right state over the latest video that Sergio had uploaded and this time they believe it is proof that the impersonator and Jackson are one of the same person.
The clip – which surfaced last week – shows Sergio telling his followers about a new gig in Thailand today.
He is seen saying: “Hello to all Michael Jackson fans, come and watch me perform at Pattaya on December 23.
“I love you guys and I’ll see you there, I am Sergio Cortes – I’ll see you soon.”
There are some clear indications that Sergio is not Jackson himself, namely the Spanish accent and the fact that he looks years younger that Jackson would do, if he were alive today.
Despite this, the comment section was flooded with fans claiming that Jackson was alive and this was the proof they had been waiting for.
One fan wrote: "I love you Michael, my Michael has come back. We love you.”
Another added: “I am convinced you are Michael Jackson himself.”
A third wrote: “Wow [this] is Michael Jackson.”
