18 lonely elderly men receive apartments in Armenia’s Gyumri
On the sidelines of his working visit to Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Friday took part in a ceremony of handing over social apartments to 18 lonely elderly residents of the city.
They received apartments in a newly-constructed block of flats built with the financial support of the Arda Charity Foundation, the PM’s press service reported.
Pashinyan thanked the fund for supporting the program and making the initiative ongoing.
The premier toured the apartments and congratulated the elderly beneficiaries on housewarming and the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays.
