Five injured in car crash in Armenian region
A car crash in Armenia’s Lori Province has wounded five people, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The accident occurred near a cemetery in the city of Vanadzor on Thursday, January 2, shortly before midnight.
One fire and rescue squad of the emergencies ministry responded to the accident.
The ministry says a VAZ-2104 collided with a GAZ-3110, injuring drivers Vahan K. and Suren G., as well as the three passengers of GAZ-3110, identified as Gohar M., Vardan G. and Tatevik G.
The injured were taken to Vanadzor Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as moderate.
The cause of the crash wasn't immediately known.
