Armenian military leadership holds consultation
The Armenian army leadership has held a consultation at the Defense Ministry to discuss the issues of maintaining vigilance in the armed forces and the organization of combat duty during the New Year and Christmas holidays, Defense Ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in a post on Facebook.
“The situation in the Middle East in recent days was also discussed during the consultation, with special instructions given in that regard,” Hovhannisyan wrote.
“In general, the operative situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border and the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Artsakh and Azerbaijan is assessed as stable,” he noted.
