Several museums, galleries in Yerevan open during holidays
A number of museums and galleries in Yerevan continue to work as usual to ensure tourist flows during the New Year holidays.
They include Yeghishe Charents Museum of Literature and Arts, Martiros Saryan House Museum, Komitas Museum-Institute, Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum, Sergei Parajanov Museum, Yervand Kochar Museum, Museum of Russian Art (Professor Aram Abrahamyan's collection), History Museum of Armenia and National Gallery of Armenia.
During the holidays the museums are open from 12pm till 5pm. The History Museum and the National Art Gallery work until 6pm, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport reported.
Zvartnots and Garni Historical-Cultural Museum Reserves, as well as Metsamor Historical-Archeological Museum-Reserve are also open for visitors. Garni is open from 10am to 6pm, while Zvartnots and Metsamor Museum-Reserves work from 10am to 3:30pm.
