Roman Berezovsky appointed head coach of FC Pyunik
Former goalkeeper of the Armenian national team Roman Berezovsky has been appointed head coach of FC Pyunik playing in the Armenian Premiere League, the Club said in a statement on Wednesday.
Berezovsky has been the captain of the Armenia national team and participated in 79 international matches since his debut in the FIFA World Cup qualification match in 1996.
He previously played for Zenit Saint Petersburg, Khimki and Torpedo Moscow, among other clubs.
Berezovsky has also served as the goalkeepers’ coach of the Armenian national team during his coaching career.
