Consumer prices grow by 0.7% in Armenia in 12 months
Consumer prices in Armenia rose by 0.7% in December 2019 from December 2018 and by 1.3% from November 2019, the latest official statistics show.
In January-December 2019 the average monthly growth of consumer prices stood at 0.1%, repeating the figure of the previous year.
Consumer prices increased by 1.1-1.7% in all the Armenian cities under study in December against November 2019, with the highest inflation rates recorded in the towns of Hrazdan and Artashat. Capital Yerevan saw a rise of 1.1% in consumer prices last year.
