Marcos Pizzelli quits professional football career
Ararat Armenia FC and former Armenian national team player Marcos Pizzelli retired from professional football, the Club said in a Facebook post.
“Marcos passed additional medical examination following the injury he suffered during an individual training in Brazil. The results showed a need for a surgery. The player refused and made a decision to quit the professional career,” the statement said, thanking the player and wishing him success.
To note, the Brazilian-born Armenian footballer has played for the Armenia national team since 2008, appearing in more than 60 matches and scoring 10 goals.
