Croatia completes internal procedures necessary for ratification of Armenia-EU deal
Croatia notified the General Secretariat of the European Council and the Council of the EU about the completion of its internal procedures necessary for the ratification of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on 10 January, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said in a Facebook post.
She added that Croatia is the 18th country to have notified the General Secretariat about the matter.
“Sweden, Slovenia, Belgium and France have also completed the internal procedures necessary for the ratification of the agreement, but have not yet notified the General Secretariat about it,” the spokesperson wrote.
Armenia and the EU signed the deal in the margins of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Brussels on November 24, 2017.
