Armenia’s Pashinyan summoned for questioning
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia has been summoned for questioning by the Investigative Committee, the PM said in a Facebook post on Wednesday, sharing a selfie with an investigator.
“For the first time in the history of Armenia, the incumbent leader of the country has arrived at the Investigative Committee and is answering the questions of the investigator in his office,” he wrote.
“Elements of political persecution are obvious,” Pashinyan joked.
However, the PM didn’t mention the reason for his questioning.
