Five injured in Yerevan car crash
An Opel Vectra collided with a Toyota Camry in the Armenian capital in the early hours of Tuesday, injuring five people.
The accident happened near the park on Yerevan’s Italy Street, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Rescuers responded to the accident after receiving a cash report at 3:21am.
As a result of the crash, the drivers of the two cars and three passengers of Opel Vectra were taken to hospital, with the passengers discharged after receiving the necessary medical care.
The driver of Toyota Camry who was hospitalized at Heratsi Hospital Complex is in a serious condition, doctors said.
The cause of the crash wasn’t immediately clear.
