Cold front to bring snow to Armenia
A cold front is expected to grip Armenia from Thursday evening, binging snow to the western and central parts of the country in the late hours of the evening.
Snow will spread over most parts of the country on Thursday night and will continue into Friday afternoon especially in Vayots Dzor, Syunik Provinces and Artsakh, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Armenia is expected to pick up 1 to 8 cm of snow, with capital Yerevan to receive 4 to 5 cm of snow.
Temperatures are set to drop by 8-10 degrees on Friday night to further rise as much starting from Tuesday, January 28.
