Soldier wounded in Artsakh undergoes surgery, in stable condition – Defense Ministry spox
One of the Armenian soldiers wounded in Artsakh under yet unclear circumstances has undergone surgery, Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in a post on Facebook.
He added soldier Henry-Hayk Zakarean, 19, is now in a grave but stable condition.
As reported earlier, two soldiers of the Artsakh Defense Army suffered gunshot wounds on Friday.
The incident took place in a northern military unit at around 6:55am, the Artsakh Defense Ministry reported.
The second wounded serviceman is identified as Armen Mesropyan, 20.
A probe into further details of the incident is underway.
