Armenia’s top taxpayers of 2019 revealed
The State Revenue Committee has released the list of Armenia’s biggest 1,000 taxpayers based on the figures of 2019.
Grand Tobacco tops the list of the major taxpayers with 57.05 billion drams, up 35.1% from the same period of the previous year, when the company paid 42 billion 222 million drams in taxes.
Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine ranks second on the list with a total of 51 billion 360 million drams. Armenia’s third largest taxpayer is Gazprom Armenia, which paid some 43 billion 644 million drams in taxes in 2019, the committee said.
In the fourth place is the International Masis Tabak, which paid 19 billion 223 million drams in taxes to the state budget last year. With 16 billion 441 drams, JTI Armenia company comes fifth on the list.
The top ten taxpayers also feature Flash company (15 billion 990 million drams), CPS Oil Corporation (14.05 billion drams), Philip Morris Armenia (13 billion 700 million drams), GeoProMining Gold (13.67 billion drams), International Masis Tabak (13 billion 133 million drams) and Veon Armenia CJSC (12 billion 238 million drams).
In 2019, the ten largest taxpayers paid about 257 billion drams to the state budget, 23 billion drams or about 10% more than in 2018.
