New active cyclone to bring snow to Armenia on Friday
A new active Mediterranean cyclone is expected to hit Armenia on Friday, bringing snow and sleet to the country.
Precipitation will start in the county’s northern and central parts in the evening hours of Friday to continue into Saturday, gripping most parts of the country.
Mountainous regions and foothills will see snow, while valleys will experience wet snow and sleet, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Strong winds up to 15-20 m/s are predicted in separate places on Friday and Saturday.

Rain is expected to begin in capital Yerevan on Friday evening to continue into Friday night taking the form of snow, which will persist till Saturday afternoon.
The weather is set to clear up across the country on Saturday evening.
