Former Lenfilm editor-in-chief Frizheta Gukasyan dies at 90
Former editor-in-chief of the Lenfilm film studio, Honored Art Worker of Russia Frizheta Gukasyan has passed away at the age of 90, Kultomania.ru reported.
Gukasyan worked at the film studio for nearly 30 years from 1960-1990s.
Speaking about her, Ghukasyan's colleagues from the Russian Union of Cinematographers, highlighted her talent as an editor, who helped master filmmakers in their most difficult times.
"Her high professionalism has helped to reveal the creative personality of many playwrights and directors," the film studio’s website said.
Ghukasyan worked with Aleksey Batalov, Aleksey German and other famous Russian filmmakers. She participated in the creation of "Heart of a Dog", "The Idiot", "Master and Margarita" and other films.
