Next OSCE monitoring of Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line set for Thursday
In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), the OSCE mission will on Thursday, February 6, carry out a planned monitoring of the ceasefire regime on the line of contact between the Artsakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, in the east of Talish village of Martakert region.
From the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Ognjen Jovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Ghenadie Petrica (Moldova), field assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (CiO), as well as Simon Tiller (Great Britain), Personal Assistant to the Personal Representative of the OSCE CiO, the Artsakh Foreign Ministry reported.
From the opposite side of the border, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE CiO, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, his field assistant Mihail Olaru (Moldova), and staff member of the Office of the CiO Personal Representative Martin Schuster (Germany).
The Artsakh authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE mission members.
