Agreement signed on modernization of Meghri border checkpoint
Armenia’s ministry of finance and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed on Friday grant and loan agreements worth €21,146 263 for the Project of Meghri Border checkpoint. As the ministry of finance reported, the agreement was signed by Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan and EBRD Chairman Dmitri Gvindadze.
The project is aimed at the modernization and the enhancement of checkpoint with more than half of the funding worth 10 520 000 and €700 000 to be financed under the European Neighborhood instrument of the EU.
