Minister Suren Papikyan to head constitutional referendum ‘Yes’ campaign
Chairman of the Board of the Civil Contract party, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan will head the “Yes” campaign for the referendum to change Armenia’s Constitution.
Papikyan’s spokesperson Armine Muradyan confirmed to Panorama.am, but refused to further elaborate.
Earlier on Sunday President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree setting April 5 as the date for the constitutional referendum.
The referendum campaign will launch on February 17 to run through April 3, according to the timetable approved by the Central Electoral Commission on Tuesday.
